A message to fathers and future fathers

I URGE YOU TO READ THIS POST. LEAVING A GODLY LEGACY. A MESSAGE TO FATHERS AND FUTURE GODLY FATHERS!

Proverbs 20:7'The just man walks in his integrity and his children are blessed after him.'

1.Legacy of Godliness. Leaving a spiritual legacy begins with the personal character of every dad. Who you are determines what we leave behind.Godly fathers live godly lives.
2.Legacy of Love. Love your wives with a pure undefiled love. That is a great gift to give your children and the foundation upon which a lasting legacy is built for our children.
3.Legacy of Obedience. Obedience is a core virtue that we must instill within our children. A spirit of rebellion lives in the world around us. All of life is dependent upon obedience to authority. So being right with God and right with our wives ,leads to being right with our children. We must be obedient before we can teach obedience.
4.Legacy of Respect. Dad's define respect to your children. This includes a respectful attitude, words, tone of voice, respectful manners and appearance.
5.Legacy of Gentleness. Gentle fathers are patient not overbearing. Be careful not to overreact. We upset our children when we lose our tempers over small offenses. Do not be too harsh, do not be too soft.
6.Legacy of Maturity. Developing a Christian mind begins at home. Instill in them the absolutes of the Word of God. Help them develop a heart for God.Day by day, we want our children to grow in their love for God. Help them to say NO to sin and yes to Righteousness.
