Be real: don't do another while you say another

GOD FORBID if we claim to love the Lord who is holy and pure and yet post things that are unholy and impure.  God forbid that we post pictures, videos or comments that grieve and offend the Holy Spirit and cause others to stumble because the content is ungodly. If our Christianity is real it will show up on our face books as it will at home, work, church and wherever we are.
REMEMBER THIS: WE ARE WHO WE ARE WHEREVER WE ARE AS FAR AS GOD IS CONCERNED.

1.So when you are online and posting on face book do you "cease being who you are"or are you really "revealing the real you"? For many their face book is a total contradiction to their confession of being a follower of Christ. This is more common than most people think.
Titus 1:16"They profess that they know God but in works they deny Him." Meaning how they live is the very opposite of what they claim. They claim to have a vital relationship with God yet in their daily life they still live for self and sin.

2.If we have a clean, pure conscience in Christ then we will be careful "proving what is acceptable unto the Lord."(Ephesians 5:10)
We will walk "circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise."(Ephesians 5:15) The word circumspect means, "to be careful not careless." Many walk as fools and carelessly post things that are unacceptable to the Lord. We are responsible to the Lord for what we post on our face book. Also we are responsible for what others share or tag on our face books.

3.If we ''act holy and spiritual" at church and shout "hallelujah" and then get on face book and post worldly garbage and use profanity and lewd language then that is the real you and you are playing the hypocrite at church.
If we are truly born of God we will practice righteousness and depart from that which is sinful.  You cannot hide a godly life. You cannot hide a true love for Jesus Christ.  Tell me what a person loves and that will tell me who they are and what or who they worship. In the last days many will be lovers of self and lovers of pleasure instead of lovers of God. They will have an outward form of faith but not a true faith in the Lord that leads to real changes in a persons life.If we love God and live God-centered lives then godliness will be manifest in our lives. Godliness is not an option.

4.What is in your heart will be revealed in your attitudes, conduct, pictures, music, media, books, movies and more.
And if ungodliness marks your life and not godliness then you need to get right with God.Get real and be honest if this applies to you and remember a holy God does not play games and we will stand before Him one day and give an account with how we lived our lives including our face book lives.
Galatians 6:7-8"Be not deceived God is not mocked:for whatsoever a man sows, that he shall reap. For he that sows to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."GOD FORBID that any of us ever mock a holy God !

5.Romans 14:12"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."Do you really believe this for if you do it will certainly have an impact on your life including your face book life? You cannot say 'well Jesus is my Lord except for my face book.' Wake up to reality!  All the details of life must come under His Lordship.
Read this scripture and take a good look at your life and see if you truly "think on these things" or "talk about these things"or "post about these godly virtues". Because what is in the heart and mind will be expressed in your life.

6.Philippians 4:8"Finally ,brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise think on these things."
NOW READ THESE TWO SCRIPTURES !
Luke 6:44-45 "For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."
