Assitant Holy Spirit. Part 2

GOD: the way this my son Johnson takes pap almost every night, he no longer wakes up to pray at midnight.

Next morning...
(Mr Johnson's room.5am...He wakes up for devotion)

Johnson: Goodmorning Lord, even as I behold thy word may I indeed behold thee. Amen.

Scripture for the day: Heb 12:1 (LB)
"Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us"

God: Son, whatever that slows you down or holds you down must be laid aside. The pap you take daily especially at night no longer allows you to travail as you do. I no longer hear thy cries. Henceforth, no more pap after 6pm.

Johnson: Lord, in fact from this morning I resolve never to taste pap again. Oh, am so sorry...I never knew I was hurting you (amidst sobs and tears)
(Begins to sing the hymn: Take my life and let it be..)

Next Day
Mr Johnson ministering at the "end warriors church"

Johnson: oh if you are here and you still take pap can I tell you that you are not far from missing the mark.
If you are here and still take pap after 6pm be aware that you won't go far. Pap is not for the man who will go far!

Altar call:
Sis Nkechi who does not even take pap is seen weeping and surrendering pap to the Lord
Bro Ben who can even take pap at 10pm yet it doesn't stop him from praying is also seen laying pap to the Lord.

And that is how the heresy begins... and of course "doctrines of men" too.

Let the line between thy personal consecrations, dealings and instructions, be drawn from His message to the body of Christ!

"Keep your eyes on Jesus, our leader and instructor..." Heb12:2 (LB)

#GodInPen

This is how the doctrines of most Churches came about, the pastor or G.O enforce his personal convictions on the congregation. This is very, very wrong. God's dealings with you are often, if not, always different from how he deals with me.

Please don't become an assistant Holy Spirit to me or to anybody by trying to force your convictions on them.

If baba said you should not use face powder, don't.

If He said don't wear jean trousers as a brother, please don't.

If he said never to use perfume, don't try it.

But above all, never, I repeat, never make these personal convictions of yours a standard with which you measure who is a Christian or not.
